Automation

Grippers, workstations, assembly elements and custom mechanical solutions from engineering to integration.

01

Grippers

Robotic gripper design considers part geometry, centre of gravity, gripping method, sensors, pneumatics and safe behaviour in the event of pressure or signal loss.

TECHNICAL DETAIL

Automation without unnecessary complexity

Automation should remove instability or manual work, not introduce another problem into production. We therefore start with the cycle, the component and the required outcome.

01

Robotic grippers

Mechanical interfaces, part gripping, sensors, pneumatics and error-proofing are treated as one functional system.

02

Part handling

We consider mass, centre of gravity, sensitive surfaces, orientation and safe behaviour in the event of pressure or signal loss.

03

Jigs & stations

Dedicated stations and production fixtures can integrate mechanics, pneumatics, sensors and electrical elements where required.

04

Cycle-time thinking

The design is evaluated in the real cycle: access, movement, part change, servicing and fault recovery.

05

Prototyping

Critical functions can be validated with a prototype before final manufacture, reducing the risk of late changes.

06

Integration

Interfaces and responsibilities are defined early so the mechanical solution integrates correctly with the existing technology.
